Hon. Justice Warsame Abdullahi Mohammed was appointed on 7th May 2026 as a Judge of the Supreme Court of Kenya. He heads the Intellectual Resource Management and the Court’s Strategic Planning and Implementation Portfolio.
Prior to his appointment, he was a Judge of the Court of Appeal presiding over the Nakuru Court of Appeal. He served as a Judge of the Court of Appeal (2012-2026) and of the High Court of Kenya (2003-2012). He practiced law from 1994, establishing his private practice in 1996.
Hon. Justice Warsame Abdullahi served as a Commissioner at the Judicial Service Commission.
He is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of Nairobi and a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law.
